Marathon for Non-Public Education

The Solanus Casey Council 1632 supports St Croix Catholic in their 2017 Marathon.

Below are the results of their 2017 Service Marathon.

We Made It!

We Met Our Goal!

Hundreds of service projects and $80,443.48 contributed in support of our mission!  Thank you to all who participated in our 2017 Service Marathon.

285 of our 309 students collected donations, 205 made their $250 goal and earned 5 No-Uniform passes. These will be distributed by the end of this week.  Please remember that students are responsible for writing thank you letters to their contributors.  Please include a tax receipt.

185 students went above and beyond their goal by at least $25 and earned Pizza with the Principal and Pastor.

We are so grateful to the parishes and the Knights of Columbus for their support; $6,500 was collected during School Participation Masses this past weekend.  This was the final boost we needed to meet our All-School Goal of $80,000 – and we now will get out one day earlier for Christmas break – December 21 rather than December 22.  Thank you to all the students and parents who assisted with the Masses and the Knights of Columbus breakfast.

Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your enthusiasm.

May God bless our school family.

MN Marathon for Nonpublic Education

September 30, 2017
State-wide date for the Minnesota Marathon for Nonpublic Education!

The mission of the Minnesota Marathon for Nonpublic Education, Inc., in cooperation with the Minnesota Knights of Columbus, is to raise public awareness of nonpublic education by promoting fundraising initiatives.

The Marathon is a fun and effective way to raise funds for your school.

Since 1974, Marathon events have given students, school families, faculty members and friends an opportunity to show their school pride while generating important financial support for school programs. With fun events and service projects, the Marathon has served communities while supporting nonpublic education. In 1975, the State Council of the Knights of Columbus joined the effort. Since then, the Knights have provided financial support for Marathon events across the state.

Typically, students solicit donations for walk-a-thons, bike-a-thons, community clean-up events, and service projects matching students with community needs.

The Minnesota Marathon for Nonpublic Education has been successful in raising nearly $103,000,000 (that’s million dollars!) for nonpublic schools. In 2013, registered schools reported raising over $2.3 million! The MARATHON raises state-wide awareness of the importance of nonpublic education in Minnesota.
